Nelly Korda Withdraws from Aramco Series London Title Defense Due to Dog Bite

World No. 1 in women's golf, Nelly Korda (USA), has withdrawn from next week's tournament in London, where she was set to defend her title.

On the 29th (Korean time), Korda announced on her Instagram, "I regret to inform you that I have to withdraw from next week's Ladies European Tour (LET) tournament in London," and added, "I was bitten by a dog and need some time to fully recover after receiving treatment." 먹튀검증

Korda continued, "I apologize to LET, the tournament sponsors, and the fans. I hope to recover as quickly as possible and get back on the course soon."

Korda had planned to compete in the Aramco Team Series London, set to take place from the 3rd to the 5th of next month at Centurion Club in London, England. Last year, she won this event by four strokes over England's star, Charley Hull, claiming her third LET victory. However, this year, she will not be able to defend her title due to her injury.

Korda is having a historic season on the LPGA Tour, with six wins, but she needs a rebound after missing the cut for three consecutive weeks recently.
